Kohi Click Test

Ten seconds, left mouse button, as fast as you can. The same format Minecraft PvP players have used to compare CPS since the Kohi server days.

Click trace: each spike is one input, its height the instant rate; the line is your rolling 1-second CPS.

Where the Kohi test comes from

Kohi was one of the big Minecraft PvP servers of the 1.7 and 1.8 era. In that combat system every click can land a hit, so players who clicked faster could keep combos going and take less knockback. Checking your CPS over a fixed 10 seconds became the standard way to compare, and "Kohi CPS test" stuck as the name.

The test here keeps the classic format: 10 seconds, left click, timer starts on the first click. You also get your peak burst and how much you slowed down, which says more about PvP stamina than the headline number.

Ranks are this site's own bands, based on typical ranges for each clicking technique.

Getting more from a 10-second test

  • Warm up with two easy runs first. Cold fingers lose 1 to 2 CPS.
  • Watch the rolling line on the trace. If it peaks early and slopes down, relax your grip and pace the first three seconds.
  • A rhythm spread under 20 ms means an even click, which is easier to aim with in a real fight.
  • Many servers flag very high CPS as possible auto clicking. Know your server's limit before you drag click in PvP.

Questions

What is the Kohi click test?

It is a 10-second click speed test named after Kohi, a well-known Minecraft PvP server whose players popularised checking CPS before fights. You click as fast as you can for 10 seconds and get your average clicks per second.

What is a good Kohi CPS?

Around 7 CPS is average. 10 or more is strong for PvP, and anything past 13 usually means jitter or butterfly clicking.

Is Kohi CPS different from a normal CPS test?

The maths is identical: clicks divided by seconds. The Kohi test is simply fixed at 10 seconds so scores are comparable between players.

Does higher CPS win PvP fights?

Only up to a point. Minecraft 1.8-style combat rewards CPS for knockback and combos, but aim, strafing and rod or block timing decide more fights than raw speed.
